No drawings? Actually two are ready for me to ink. So I will, I will shed my fear of messing up and just do it. This weekend.

So, the creation of the last pickle of summer awaits my attention. A simple salt pickle of a cucumber served with grated ginger root, organic soy sauce and shichimi togarashi.

Why the "last"? It was the last cucumber from my first vegetable garden, it was a success for egg plant (more coming) and cucumbers. But the cucumber plant was deadish and I cleared it out to leave room for what's left.

This summer has left me with some adventure and fun up north but only one surfing day... a small one. And... no drawings. That changes this weekend.
